Inclusion Room Lead – Enfield Inclusion Room Lead
Milk Education are working in partnership with a large and inclusive secondary school in Enfield to recruit an experienced Inclusion Room Lead to join their pastoral team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Inclusion Room Lead who is passionate about supporting young people, promoting positive behaviour and creating an environment where every student can succeed.
The successful Inclusion Room Lead will oversee the school’s inclusion provision, supporting students who require time away from mainstream lessons while ensuring they remain engaged with their learning. As an Inclusion Room Lead
, you will play a key role in behaviour management, pastoral support and helping students successfully reintegrate into the classroom.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the school’s inclusion room
- Working as an Inclusion Room Lead to support students displaying challenging behaviours
- Supervising students who are removed from lessons and ensuring they complete set work
- Delivering restorative conversations and behaviour interventions
- Supporting students to reflect on their actions and develop positive behaviour strategies
- Liaising closely with Heads of Year, pastoral staff, teachers and senior leaders
- Monitoring student behaviour, attendance and engagement within the inclusion provision
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to behaviour and pastoral reports
- Supporting the reintegration of students back into mainstream lessons
- Previous experience as an Inclusion Room Lead
, Behaviour Mentor, Learning Mentor, Pastoral Assistant or Cover Supervisor - Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- Ability to build positive and professional relationships with young people
- Resilient, patient and confident approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Commitment to improving outcomes for young people

Essential Requirements:- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional references covering the last two years
- Relevant experience working with children or young people
