The successful candidate will be able to motivate, challenge, and inspire students, helping them develop confidence in mathematics while achieving strong academic outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate Will:- Have a proven history of securing positive outcomes in Mathematics.
- Be capable of delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Be committed to raising attainment and closing learning gaps.
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEN, behavioural, and academic needs.
- Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the current Mathematics curriculum.
- Experience using adaptive teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities.
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).
- Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all compliance procedures.
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
