Maths Teacher

The successful candidate will be able to motivate, challenge, and inspire students, helping them develop confidence in mathematics while achieving strong academic outcomes.

• Have a proven history of securing positive outcomes in Mathematics.
• Be capable of delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Be committed to raising attainment and closing learning gaps.
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEN, behavioural, and academic needs.
• Be a reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the current Mathematics curriculum.
• Experience using adaptive teaching strategies to support learners of varying abilities.
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential).

• Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all compliance procedures.
• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
