Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: Up to £65,000

Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking for a role where your expertise will directly shape the design and integration of advanced technology solutions? This opportunity offers the chance to work on complex, high-performance systems that operate in demanding real-world environments.

You’ll play a key role in developing and delivering cutting‑edge engineering projects - from concept through to delivery - with the freedom to apply your knowledge across a range of disciplines including software, mechanical and electrical engineering.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll take ownership of full lifecycle systems activities - defining requirements, integrating subsystems, validating performance, and ensuring robust delivery. You’ll work alongside multi‑disciplinary teams, contributing to both technical excellence and project outcomes, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and influence design decisions.

This is a hands‑on, technically rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and seeing their designs through to successful implementation.

• Proven experience in systems design, integration and testing across multi‑technology environments
• A strong understanding of engineering life cycles, from concept to in‑service support
• Broad technical awareness across software, mechanical and electrical disciplines
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work across multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with internal teams and customers
• Degree‑qualified in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• UK driving licence and eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance

• Exposure to Radar, Radio, or Navigation Systems
• Knowledge of Defence or Maritime platforms
• Familiarity with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, CANBus)
• Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters or spectrum analysers
• Understanding of verification standards (MIL-STD, Def Stan, IEC)
