Site Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer, for a very successful civil engineering company, to support the delivery of a significant infrastructure project in Blackburn involving 278 works, roundabout relocation, carriageway widening, and compound entrance construction.

Key Responsibilities

Set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Ensure construction activities are delivered accurately and to required tolerances.
Produce and maintain quality assurance records and inspection documentation.
Conduct site surveys and maintain as-built records.
Assist with planning and sequencing of works.
Support subcontractor management and technical queries.
Monitor progress against programme requirements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures.

Requirements

Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Previous experience working on highways projects.
Competent in setting out using GPS and total station equipment.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
CSCS card.
Full UK driving licence.

Desirable

Experience with road widening, drainage, earthworks, and junction improvements.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and surveying software
