Pertemps is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Moving & Handling Team within Enfield’s Connect service. In this role, you will work as part of the Connect team triage service
, managing urgent cases and providing essential support to residents. This includes gathering key information, completing assessments, and producing effective support plans to promote safety, independence, and wellbeing.

This is a full-time, community-based role with the benefit of hybrid working
, offering flexibility alongside essential face-to-face visits.

• Manage urgent referrals within the triage service.
• Carry out holistic assessments and gather essential information to support decision-making.
• Develop and implement support plans tailored to client needs.
• Complete moving and handling assessments, including home visits and follow-up reviews.
• Recommend and arrange equipment or adaptations to maximise safety and independence.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, carers, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in moving and handling within community or similar settings.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and respond to urgent needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
