Our client, a well-established leader in roadside assistance services, is seeking a experienced Roadside Vehicle Technician to join their team covering the Enfield area.

  • Basic salary of £41,600 per annum, with the potential to earn up to £66,000 including overtime
  • Weekday 40-hour shift pattern, with shifts scheduled up to 12 months in advance for planning ease

Duties:
  • Attend breakdown calls across the Enfield region, providing immediate roadside repairs as a Roadside Vehicle Technician
  • Coordinate and execute recovery operations for vehicles unable to be repaired on site
  • Deliver professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with motorists in distress
  • Accurately complete job documentation, logs, and reports as a Roadside Vehicle Technician
  • Ensure the work environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
  • Diagnose fault conditions, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and carry out necessary repairs
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience as a Roadside Vehicle Technician
  • Full UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional manner
  • Willingness to work weekends, with up to 50% of weekends on rota (generally less)
