Priory Hospital North London has an opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse with NMC Registration to join our team.

Priory Hospital North London, Southgate, London is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment centre providing care for conditions including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and OCD, as well as private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with Southgate Underground station nearby and local bus routes serving the surrounding area.

Whether you’re assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

• Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
• Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
• Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
• Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
• Evaluate and respond to changes in patient's condition and needs.
• Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families / carers.

• Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship programme.
• Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests and professional practices.
