We’re Hiring:
Relief Security Officer!
Location: Enfield, EN3 7PW

Pay: £14.73 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week

As a Relief Security Officer at Securitas, you’ll do more than protect what’s important—you’ll empower people to thrive. Your presence will make others feel safe, welcome, and supported. From patrolling key areas to overseeing gatehouse operations and serving as the trusted point of contact for clients, your role as a Relief Security Officer makes you an integral part of something bigger.

You will work as part of a team to ensure the highest level of security for our client, safeguarding both premises and personnel. Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Take responsibility for problems that staff and visitors may have
• Answer telephone calls professionally and in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Be punctual and reliable
• To be available as and when called upon to cover shifts, occasionally at short notice
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
