Drivers - Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver | Full Time | North London

Our drivers play a vital role within Palletforce Logistics. As a fully qualified Class 1 Driver you will deliver products to our customers while maintaining safety and wellbeing on the road.

£37,200 plus £50 weekly bonus.

• Use a handheld terminal to record accurate information.
• Occasionally drive Class 2 and 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Drive Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
• Inform the transport office of any problems in good time (e.g., if you’re running late).
• Be fit to drive, considering alcohol intake, daily rest, and medication that may affect driving.
• Arrive at your job on time.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Operate safely, following all road rules.
• Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed, and returned to the transport office.
• Deliver goods to various locations.

Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tacho Card, HGV/LGC Class licence with 12 months experience.

Previous experience is essential. Refrigeration and multi‑drop experience would be beneficial. Completion of a CPC Training Course and strong geographical and logistical knowledge are required.

Good spoken and written communication skills.

Ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and customers.

Adaptability in start and finish times, prioritising workloads, and meeting tight deadlines.
