Media Assistant to Our Viet/Italian CEO — Help Build a Cross‑Border Movement (VN/EN)Location: Enfield, CT (onsite)
Travel: Frequent, riding with the CEO a couple times each month (domestic + occasional international)
Our CEO is a Viet/Italian operator who was fired, started again from zero, and built a tech company now doing roughly $20M/year. After losing his mother last year, he doubled down on building with honesty and service. He began posting this year—videos are already in the millions of views
, with ~25k Followers on Tik Tok since January and ~8k on Instagram
—and he’s using that momentum to do more than “speak to millions.”
The mission is active:
inspire, motivate, and support Vietnamese communities in Vietnam and in the U.S., and channel attention into real projects for women and children through charity programs on both sides of the ocean. This role helps turn that mission into a daily drumbeat—stories, replies, meet‑ups, and moments that move people to action.
- Plan the story: Build the weekly editorial calendar, content pillars, shot lists, and run‑of‑show. You’ll keep Tik Tok/IG/FB—and soon Shorts—flowing with intent.
- Publish with pace: Coordinate scripts, captions, and deliverables; quality‑check before anything goes live; keep timelines tight.
- Lead comments & inbox: In Vietnamese and English
, reply with warmth and clarity; elevate sensitive messages; protect the tone. - Capture the moments: Travel with the CEO several times a month; adapt on location; occasionally step on camera when it serves the story.
- Team with both coasts: Work closely with the U.S. social lead and the Vietnam media team; align content planning with the EA’s schedule.
- Build smarter over time: We’ll set targets together in the first 60 days; you’ll help choose the planning/scheduling stack.
- Hands‑on editing: Comfortable in Cap Cut/Premiere for quick cuts, captions, and packaging short‑form.
Most media roles are one‑directional and shallow: post the thing, move on. Here you’re co‑creating with a hands‑on CEO,
traveling to capture real stories
, and seeing how content turns into action
—from community support to charity events that help women and children in Vietnam and the U.S. You won’t just “manage socials”; you’ll help build a cross‑border movement and learn directly from a builder who runs on honesty, discipline, and service.
- Are VN/EN bilingual and switch between both with intention.
- Love planning but also love the trenches—comments, DMs, reshoots, last‑minute fixes before wheels up.
- Keep tone consistent: humble, direct, playful; never preachy.
- Care that the work touches real lives, not just metrics.
- Onsite in Enfield, CT (daily proximity matters).
- Frequent travel with the CEO (typically a couple trips per month). All travel covered with per diem.
- Competitive salary (band shared early in process), paid travel + per diem, relocation assistance if needed, dental, PTO, company holidays. Additional benefits discussed during interviews.
