Maternity Locum GP Opportunity MHP Lincoln Road Medical Practice (4 to 6 sessions per week)

Provide high-quality patient care during agreed clinical sessions.
Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits where required.
Make professional, autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
Develop care plans in consultation with patients, provide counselling and health education, and refer appropriately.
Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes in line with Practice standards.
Compile and issue computer-generated prescriptions in line with the Practice formulary and national guidelines.
Manage acute clinical queries and paperwork generated during the session.
Ensure that any private work undertaken during sessions (e.g. reports, letters) is managed in line with Practice policy.
Work in accordance with Practice policies and procedures, including confidentiality, safeguarding, prescribing, infection control, and health & safety.
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team.
Uphold equality, diversity, and patients rights in all interactions.
Maintain own professional development, GMC appraisal, revalidation, and medical indemnity.
