Professional Short Course Lecturer/Assessor
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Assessor in Professional Short Courses to provide high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to our students.
Responsibilities- Deliver and assess courses at Levels 1 to 3 across a range of horticulture and arboriculture subjects, including Amenities Horticulture, Plant Science, Propagation, Soil Science, C & G NPTC Machinery, Landscaping and Ecology, and Garden Design.
- Prepare and deliver stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, give timely feedback and consistently demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours expected of students.
- Collaborate with practical instructors and technicians to ensure the effective delivery of practical learner activities.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe learning environment.
- A Degree or other relevant qualification in a related discipline.
- Experience as a lecturer or in industry, with a passion for teaching and developing the next generation of horticulture professionals.
