Level 3 Nursery & Reception TA

A lovely primary school in Edmonton, Enfield are looking for an experienced level 3 TA to work in their EY provision. The school is a lovely one-form entry primary school that is known for being a dynamic and happy setting with an intake of students and staff from different backgrounds.

The role is to start in July 2023 and it will be until the end of the academic year. You will be working in the nursery class in the morning, and you will be leading literacy and numeracy activities and you will be working in reception in the afternoon where you will be leading phonic, writing and reading activities. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in EY and Reception, and they are confident in teaching phonics.

The chosen candidate must be able to completely commit to the role as consistency is key.

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Ability to assist and assess effectively a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level
• Ability to be creative and manage, motivate and inspire children
• Level 3 qualification
• Able to commit for the duration of the placement
• Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
• Honest and compassionate
• Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
