Year 2 Teacher

I am looking for a Year 1 teacher to join a two-form entry primary school in New Southgate from after half term. The school is based in a residential area in New Southgate. The school is easily accessible by public transport or car.

This is a full-time role to start after half term and you must be able to commit full-time as consistency is key. The successful candidate will be working in year 2 and will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all lessons. You will be part of a very dynamic and creative team of teachers and you will receive excellent opportunities for training and development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Excellent knowledge of KS1 curriculum
• Ability to plan, teach and effectively assess a range of pupils, including those working below national curriculum level
• Ability to be creative and manage, motivate, and inspire children
• Ability to plan for and manage a team of support staff
• Ability to liaise with multi-professionals
• Experience in assessing child development and planning activities to support their on-going attainment and growth
• Able to commit for the duration of the placement
• Creative and dynamic in their approach to teaching and learning
• Honest and compassionate
• Happy to complete training to further develop their knowledge and understanding in education.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willing to complete one
