Lead the design, modeling, and integration of aerospace test equipment, including fluid systems, refrigeration and environmental controls, containment subsystems, and mechanical assemblies for control cabinets. Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot failures and leaks, collaborate with electrical engineering teams, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements:Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 6-12 years of mechanical design or engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or test equipment. Candidates need advanced Solid Works skills, expertise in fluid power systems and pump sizing, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally; familiarity with quality standards, simulation tools, and LabVIEW-controlled hardware is preferred.
