Job Title: Licensed Outpatient Therapist
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, one evening per week; staff meeting Wednesdays at 9 a.m.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMThe Adult Outpatient Services program (AOP) assists adult clients who are recovering from traumatic incidents, substance use, or are managing a chronic mental health disorder through psychiatric and substance‑abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. AOP has a tier‑based productivity incentive program; the majority of staff consistently exceed productivity expectations and receive a bonus. Typical days vary and may involve working with clients individually, in a group setting, or in IOP.
The program provides regular weekly supervision for non‑licensed staff and biweekly supervision for licensed staff, and supervisors are always available to answer questions and offer clinical assistance.

- Provide evidence‑based group, individual, family, and intensive outpatient therapy.
- Perform clinical and risk assessments and make referrals for appropriate services and levels of care.
- Document client services and relevant activity in the electronic health record and perform assigned administrative tasks.
- Participate in assigned meetings including individual supervision, staff and team meetings, and required trainings.
- Collaborate with client’s healthcare providers, social service agencies, and natural supports.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and other meetings as assigned.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Education: License required with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field.
Experience: Comprehensive knowledge and experience providing assessment and treatment to persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorders; relevant experience with evidence‑based practice is preferred.
Licensure / Certification: LCSW or other license to practice psychotherapy in the State of Connecticut required. All MSW staff must possess an LMSW or LCSW.
Training: Demonstrated education, supervised training, and practical experience providing the full spectrum of behavioral health treatment, including clinical.
COMPENSATIONMinimum $53,372, and up commensurate upon experience. Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many positions offer program/location differential and/or sign‑on incentives.
