Carris Reels is 100% employee owned that manufacturers reels of different materials including plywood, plastic and wood. Our Enfield, CT location is looking for a material handler to join the team on 2nd shift.
You will assist in moving material throughout the plant using a sit down forklift. This includes but not limited to keeping the productions line full with wood needed to run job orders, moving empty pallets, moving trash containers.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate should have:
- 1-3 years of sit-down forklift experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Proven track record of good attendance
- Excellent attention to details
- Good math skills, especially measurement skills, including fractions
- Initiative
- Must be able to work overtime on Friday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am
Regular hours are Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am (plus overtime required)
