Job Overview

We are seeking a Yard Jockey to load straps, racks and shippers onto trucks, assist with pallet building, unloading and maintain general warehouse upkeep.

Position Responsibilities
  • Responsible for loading, straps, racks and shippers onto truck during the loading process.
  • Assist with pallet building and unloading of trucks to maintain organization of pallets and shells.
  • Ensure that hand trucks and tow motors are charged and put in their respective places for drivers and that all DSD routes have a fully charged mule on trailer prior to leaving the dock.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of the warehouse and yard and assist with replenishment of product in the warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required

Education and Experience
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience.
  • Class A CDL Permit to Class A CDL license.
  • Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
