Tax Preparer

Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in managing tax preparation tasks for partnerships, S corporations, and individual returns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly skilled, and ready to contribute immediately during peak tax season.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare accurate and compliant tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individual clients.

- Manage a high volume of tax filings, particularly in industries such as oil and gas, real estate, and closely held businesses.

- Work independently to complete tax engagements with minimal supervision.

- Ensure timely and precise filing of tax returns during busy periods.

- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines.

- Utilize Pro Systems FX software for tax planning and compliance.

- Review and analyze client financial data to ensure proper tax reporting.

- Maintain knowledge of current tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

- Provide support and guidance to clients regarding tax-related inquiries and concerns. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation.

- Proficiency in preparing partnership, S corporation, and individual tax returns.

- Familiarity with oil and gas tax preparation is strongly preferred.

- Experience in real estate tax filings is a plus.

- Knowledge of Pro Systems FX software for tax compliance is highly desirable.

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tax documentation.

- Solid understanding of tax laws and regulations.
