Job Description:The Docketing Clerk will oversee case deadlines, verify filings, and maintain visibility into upcoming due dates. This role functions as the central coordinator for litigation timelines, ensuring the legal team is consistently informed and prepared.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and verify incoming filings, including overnight submissions.
- Calculate and calendar deadlines for state and federal court matters.
- Monitor all upcoming statutory deadlines and notify attorneys as needed.
- Act as a workflow coordinator, ensuring case tasks remain on schedule.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper case files.
- Schedule depositions, hearings, meetings, and other legal events.
- Request and distribute case‑related documents including records and reports.
- Communicate with internal teams and clients to obtain or relay necessary information.
- 2+ years of state and federal e‑filing experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state filing procedures and timelines.
- Proven ability to docket, calculate, and calendar legal deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Onsite role; must work in office.
- Standard business hours.
- Parking available on premises.
- Supports a team of senior‑level attorneys.
