Scraper Operator

Bemas Construction isan all-purpose earthwork contractor. We move dirt to build developments and resources that our communities need, creating suitable foundations for people to build on.

Our projects include grading and stormwater control services for commercial, residential, mining, and environmental projects.

Operate a 631E and/or 627G scraper to grade and evenly spread earth onmass excavation jobs, including distribution centers, landfills, residential developments, mining pit reclamations, drainage ways, highways, and airport runways. Training is provided if needed.

• Conduct pre-shift walkarounds to ensure the integrity of equipment
• Operate equipment along designated haul routes
• Read and interpret survey stakes to construct projects accurately
• Follow safety protocols
• Keep equipment clean and assist with repairs as needed
• Communicate with teams via CB radio

• Hourly pay rate from $24 - $30 per hour

  • Additional profit-sharing contribution of $1 per hour into 401K regardless of participation

• At least 18 years old
• Willing to participate in a pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Reliable means of transportation

• You have scraper or other heavy equipment operation experience
• You have MSHA and/or OSHA certification

• You're willing to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines, with time-and-a-half pay over 40 hours
