Estimator – Water utility infrastructure
Overview:
A well-established general contractor based in Colorado is seeking an experienced Estimator to support our growing portfolio of water infrastructure projects. We specialize in complex civil construction initiatives including treatment facilities, pump stations, tanks, reservoirs, underground utilities, and related scopes of work. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate project opportunities through public and private bid listings within a designated region
- Review construction documents, specifications, and plans to develop detailed estimates
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather and evaluate pricing proposals
- Perform comprehensive cost analysis including labor, materials, equipment, and timelines
- Reconcile inconsistencies in pricing and scope to finalize accurate bids before submission deadlines
Desired
Qualifications:
- Background in construction or civil infrastructure preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills under deadline-driven conditions
- Competency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and document review tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and create material take-offs with accuracy
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfortable receiving and applying constructive feedback
Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 annually, based on experience

Location:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, located in the South Denver metro area.
