Location: 6911 S Yosemite St, Centennial, CO 80112
Pay/Range (Commensurate with experience): $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Current licensure in the state of Colorado and eligibility for Medicaid reimbursement.
STAR Institute is a dynamic 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to education, research, and therapies for individuals with differences in sensory processing. We serve families and individuals from across the state, the nation, and the world.
DUTIES ONLINE EVENT PLATFROM EVENT REQUIREMENTS (Software, functions…) PROJECT MANAGEMENT- Make sure the event is on track, work closely with Manager on this
- Setups up online needs
- Registration, MN, SPDU, Zoom, etc. - For live/in-person events- responsible for finding, organizing and planning location and hospitality management (works with manager on this)
- Works with Marketing
- Provides event information/links to Marketing
- Marketing has been making graphics and managing websites.
- Uses graphics to build spaces
- Acts as second set of eyes to ensure all Marketing and Website information is correct and links all work as expected.
- Works with Program Coordinator and Front Desk to respond to participant questions.
- Pre-Event Management - Prior to the event makes sure timelines are kept, materials are gathered from speakers, CEUs are applied for, and we are on track.
- Write Host scripts and master Power Point
- Works with team to design Program/Agenda for event, and determine day of responsibilities
- Event management - responsible for managing participant communication, time keeping, speaker management, host management, and technical support
- For in person events manages or delegates food purchasing and presentation, room use, speaker housing and transportation, any printed handouts, registration and check in, and all other location support needs.
- Post Event Management - responsible for managing:
Follow up participant emails, speaker payments, recordings, SPDU event creation, certificates, event surveys, etc. - Ongoing participant communication and support - email and event platform
- Between events support the Program coordinator as needed, and report to the Manager for additional duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience in budgeting and contract management.
- Proven experience in event marketing and fundraising.
- Experience with banquet and event planning.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute events with precision and attention to detail.
- Experience with online learning platforms
- Confidence with technology and IT support
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
