Avionics Technician III

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Avionics Technician III to join our client's team in Englewood, CO. Our client is a prominent firm in the aerospace and defense industry. This is a Contract role offering the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge avionics systems and contribute to critical projects.

• Perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA, and company policies and regulations.
• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics components.
• Maintain test equipment, tools, and manuals.
• Understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Route wires per technical drawings.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient and compliant avionics operations.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.
• Proficiency in avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques.
• Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications.
• Experience with routing wires per technical drawings.
• Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL (preferred).
• Basic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope, and/or pitot static equipment (preferred).
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
