Sr Test Engineer

Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Sr Test Engineer to join our client's team in Englewood, CO. Our client is a leading aerospace and defense firm. This is a six-month + contract role offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies.

• As a Test Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services.
• These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated ground-based and aerial vehicles.
• This position is situated within a dynamic team-focused environment, emphasizing the planning and execution of comprehensive testing for mission systems, payloads, and base vehicles.
• Our testing approach evolves with the design maturity, extending from initial stages through to post-production follow-ups on subsequent articles.
• The role involves extensive system testing, aimed at assessing a broad spectrum of mission equipment such as communication, computing, navigation, and surveillance systems, to ensure they meet design and functionality standards.

• Must-haves:
  Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of experience
• Missile and UAS Testing
  
  Experience:
  
  Significant experience in developmental missile testing or developmental Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) testing.
• Aerospace and Defense Expertise:
  Proven background in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Comprehensive Test Planning:
  Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed and professional test plans, procedures, and reports, ensuring full compliance with system requirements.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Strong ability to read schematics, utilize service manuals, follow test procedures, and apply logical troubleshooting techniques.
• Verification and Validation (V&V) Expertise:
  Proficiency in planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) testing.
• Electronic Test Equipment Proficiency:
  Skilled in using common electronic test and measurement equipment, such as digital multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Security Clearance:
  Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
• Strong understanding of Product and Quality Assurance principles, with experience in generating and resolving product non-conformances Experience conducting certification testing for various certification organizations, such as the FAA, NASA, or the DoD.
