Real Estate Controller

Overview

Consolidated Investment Group (CIG) is a privately owned investment company with a diverse portfolio, including Real Estate Multifamily Housing and Capital Market Investments. We’re seeking a Real Estate Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and tax planning for our real estate division. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll play a critical role in shaping strategy while managing day-to-day operations.

• Oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and portfolio performance analysis.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, lenders, and external partners.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting, with real estate/multifamily experience.
• Strong knowledge of consolidations, multi-entity structures, and GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
