A clinical research organization in Englewood, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support investigational product preparation, dispensing, documentation, and inventory management for Phase I–IV clinical trials.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Location: Englewood, CO
About the RoleThe Pharmacy Technician I works under the supervision of a Pharmacist and collaborates closely with clinical research teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality standards throughout all pharmacy-related activities in a regulated research environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily pharmacy operations in accordance with study protocols
- Prepare and dispense investigational drugs under Pharmacist supervision
- Assist with the preparation of blinded study products
- Ensure investigational products are stored appropriately and per regulatory standards
- Monitor and document pharmacy storage temperatures, reporting any excursions
- Assist with ordering, receiving, unpacking, and organizing pharmaceuticals and supplies
- Rotate stock and track expiration dates for all active study products
- Prepare medications for participants enrolled in inpatient clinical trials
- Maintain full compliance with FDA regulations, ICH/GCP guidelines, SOPs, and protocol requirements
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of basic pharmacy practices, medications, and supplies
- High attention to detail with strong quality control skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in urgent situations
- Ability to interpret and apply written guidelines and procedures
Preferred:
- At least 1 year of related pharmacy or clinical research experience
