Our client in the renewable energy industry is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for an onsite contract role in Greenwood Village, CO. This position will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with payroll systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
- Review and validate timekeeping data for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, and deductions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, and benefits.
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Experience:
3+ years of payroll processing experience; multi-state experience preferred. - Systems:
Proficiency in payroll platforms (ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar). - Strong knowledge of payroll laws and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Monday-Friday, standard business hours
