Solutions Architect

We are seeking a QA-focused Solutions Architect to lead quality strategy and hands-on test execution across complex, enterprise-scale programs.

This role combines strategic quality architecture—such as test strategy, governance, and readiness gates—with tactical delivery, including authoring use cases, test cases, and executing targeted manual tests.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Principal Architects to ensure story quality, acceptance criteria, and end-to-end traceability from requirements to release.

• Own and evolve test strategy, quality gates, and readiness criteria for multi-team initiatives.
• Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements to release.
• Define acceptance criteria and quality KPIs aligned with program goals.

• Translate business and architectural intents into clear use cases and test cases.
• Partner with Product and Engineering during grooming cycles to shape well-formed stories.
• Drive defect triage and risk assessments; document decisions and follow-ups.

• Perform targeted manual and exploratory testing for complex flows.
• Collaborate with teams on API test automation strategy; advise on ROI for automation.
• Operate in Jira to maintain backlog hygiene and reporting.

• Communicate status, risks, and quality posture with concise, executive-ready updates.
• Contribute to long-term vision while sequencing near-term quality milestones.
• Partner effectively with Principal Engineers and Architects to integrate feedback.

• Senior QA leadership experience in large, complex programs.
• Proven ability to craft and execute test strategies for enterprise, multi-system initiatives.
• Strong API and regression testing experience.
• Expertise in authoring requirements, use cases, and test cases with full traceability.
• Hands-on experience executing targeted manual tests.
• Jira fluency for workflows, dashboards, and lifecycle traceability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Mobile carrier experience with companies like T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, or similar (required for this role).
• Familiarity with automation concepts (hands-on automation experience is a plus, not mandatory).
