Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst with a strong focus on manual API testing and microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate will have hands-oManualn experience with API testing tools, basic cloud and containerization knowledge, and a proactive attitude toward learning and collaboration.

This role involves developing test plans, executing tests, managing defects, and contributing to automation and performance testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, strategies, scenarios, and cases for backend microservices.
• Conduct manual API testing using tools such as Postman and CURL.
• Review and approve test designs and approaches.
• Execute tests and manage defects using Jira.
• Identify and address testing issues and risks with minimal guidance.
• Implement and maintain API test automation scripts.
• Analyze logs using Splunk to identify patterns and errors during testing.
• Monitor services in production using Splunk.
• Develop tools using Python or Shell scripting to support test execution and analysis.
• Report test results and provide metrics to stakeholders.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies in testing.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual API testing.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman and CURL.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes, AWS, Git Lab, and Splunk.
• Experience with Jira for defect management.
• Familiarity with sequence diagrams and backend service monitoring.

• Experience in API performance testing.
• Exposure to Python and Shell scripting for tool development.
• Experience in test data management and maintaining test environments.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
• Ability to implement and maintain test automation frameworks.
