We are seeking an experienced System Integration Specialist to support a payment system modernization project.
The role involves integrating payment processing solutions with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and security.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in scripting, cloud technologies, and API integration, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integration of payment routing engines with various payment gateways, processors, and financial institutions.
- Conduct technical analysis of existing systems to identify integration points and challenges.
- Design and implement APIs for seamless communication between applications and payment acquirers.
- Configure and customize payment routing parameters based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans for payment transaction reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize downtime.
- Optimize performance of payment routing processes and address system bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain documentation for integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting.
- Interpret application/component designs and develop accordingly.
- Validate results with stakeholders and integrate the overall solution.
- Review and create unit test cases and support testing teams with clarifications.
- Contribute to design documentation, requirements, and test results.
- Manage delivery of modules and user stories, perform defect RCA, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
- Interface with customers to clarify requirements and present design options.
- Mentor team members, set goals, and ensure engagement in project activities.
- Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in production environments.
- Proficiency in JQ and YQ for data manipulation.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Go.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with RESTful Web Services and API integration.
- Familiarity with MySQL and AWS Aurora databases.
- Working knowledge of AWS services.
- Experience with tools like Postman, Git, and standard industry utilities.
- Strong understanding of JSON, XML, and data interchange formats.
- Ability to coordinate with offshore teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Onsite availability 3–4 days per week at client location.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Go Templates.
- Familiarity with domain-specific certifications and customer environments.
- Understanding of MLOps and rapid application development methodologies.
