Leads strategic IT initiatives across a broad range of technologies, supporting users in a Hybrid AD environment with a planned migration to Entra AD. Proactively identifies enterprise-wide opportunities for improvement, drives automation, and implements innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, security, and user experience. Manages and resolves complex IT incidents, problems, and requests via phone, email, and Service Desk, communicating solutions effectively to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Partners with the IT Director to shape IT strategy, leveraging Microsoft 365, Entra AD, Intune, Ninja One, and Fresh service to optimize business processes and system performance.
- Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:
Analyze enterprise IT systems and business processes to identify inefficiencies, proposing and implementing technology-driven solutions (e.g., automation, system integrations) toenhance productivity and align with organizational goals. - Microsoft 365 & Security Management:
Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint), configuring security features like Conditional Access, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Microsoft Defender to ensure compliance and protect sensitive data. - Entra AD Migration & Administration:
Lead technical aspects of the Hybrid AD to Entra AD migration, including user provisioning, group policy management, and integration with Intune for endpoint management. - Endpoint Management with Intune and Ninja One:
Deploy and manage Intune policies for Windows 10/11, Mac OS, ensuring compliance, patch management, and seamless endpoint experiences across 300 users. - Automation & Process Optimization:
Develop automation workflows using Power Shell, Fresh service automation, and Microsoft Graph API to streamline IT operations (e.g., user onboarding, ticket resolution, system monitoring) and improve service delivery. - Business Process Improvement:
Collaborate with departments to map business processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions using Fresh service integrations, Power Automate, or other tools to enhance operational efficiency. - Incident & Problem Management:
Conduct root cause analysis for incidents, perform trend analysis for recurring issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize disruptions, logging all work in Fresh service. - Security & Compliance:
Support and enhance security systems, including endpoint security, O365 Defender, firewalls,and vulnerability scanning, ensuring robust protection and compliance with corporate policies. - Collaboration Solutions:
Troubleshoot and optimize Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and associated file storage,managing data classification and retention policies to support collaboration and compliance. - Policy & Documentation:
Contribute to creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, SOPs, and knowledge base articles to ensure consistency and scalability. - Proactive Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor system performance and security using Fresh service analytics and Microsoft Defender, providing status reports and recommendations to the IT Director to prevent issues. - Change Management:
Participate in ITIL-style change management processes, ensuring changes are planned, tested, and documented effectively. - Mentorship & Team
Collaboration:
Guide the Desktop Administrator in adopting automation and enterprise tools, fostering a culture of innovation and proactivity within the IT team. - Professional Development:
Stay current with emerging technologies (e.g., cloud management, automation) through educational opportunities, professional networks, and industry publications. - Organizational Contribution:
Accept ownership of new and diverse requests, exploring opportunities to add value through innovative solutions and strategic initiatives.
- Required;
Technology certifications, 4-8 years of experience in technology support with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure AD/Entra AD, or Degree in related field, or a combination. - Preferred;
Microsoft 365 Certified:
