Senior RACF Mainframe Engineer

Base pay range: $65.00/hr - $75.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Architect and manage RACF security for z/OS systems
• Provide Level 2 support and troubleshoot RACF-related issues
• Develop automation (REXX, JCL, SAS) to streamline operations
• Integrate RACF with DB2, CICS, IMS; ensure compliance (SOX, HIPAA, PCI)
• Support audits, reporting, and incident response

Requirements:

• High School diploma or a GED
• 10+ years of experience in mainframe environments with expert RACF knowledge
• Strong skills in SAS, REXX, JCL, IBM utilities
• Experience with compliance frameworks and subsystem integration
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
• Familiarity with TPX, digital certificates, and healthcare industry is preferred

Pay range explanation: The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
