Overview
A Colorado-based construction firm is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours/week) IT Support Specialist to join their team. This is a 3-month contract position with the opportunity to be hired permanently and move to full-time (40 hours/week). The role will allow this individual to take ownership and see the impact of their technical contributions as well as be responsible for IT support systems vital for company growth at a national level.
This position is on-site in Englewood; only local candidates from the Denver Metro area will be considered.
The base pay range is provided by High Country Search Group: $30.00/hr - $36.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. If hired permanently, expected salary is $70k-$80k per year.
Responsibilities- Administers laptops, desktops, printers and provides overall technical support for operating systems, drivers, software and basic connectivity
- Collects details before escalating critical and/or complex cases
- Manages computer setup and deployment using standardized hardware, images, and software
- Assigns users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory (or other management tools) as appropriate
- Performs timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
- Monitors network and technology health and responds to hardware issues; assists in building, testing, and maintaining new servers, laptops, PCs, and other network technology
- 2-3 years of experience with networking and mobile devices
- Good organizational skills and strong work ethic
