The IT Business Analyst plays a critical role in the full IT project lifecycle by partnering with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to understand current workflows, identify business needs, evaluate technology solutions, and support the successful implementation of projects. This position serves as a bridge between end users and technical teams, translating business requirements into actionable solutions that improve processes, increase efficiency, and support exceptional patient care.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of healthcare technology projects while collaborating with clinical departments, operational leaders, vendors, consultants, and IT professionals throughout the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate technology solutions, including existing enterprise applications and new technologies.
  • Develop process maps, workflow documentation, business cases, and solution recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the IT Program Manager to support project intake, discovery, scoping, and planning activities.
  • Assess risks, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, costs, and resource needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with end users, technical teams, vendors, and consultants to support project delivery and implementation efforts.
  • Remain engaged through testing, go-live, adoption, and transition-to-operations activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Support organizational change management through user engagement, workflow transition planning, communication support, training coordination, and adoption activities.
  • Assist departments in leveraging technology to improve productivity, supportability, and operational effectiveness.
