The Application Delivery Manager (F5) plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise-level F5 application delivery controllers and web application firewall (WAF) environments. In this role, the Application Delivery Manager (F5) will oversee all aspects of platform reliability, including day-to-day operations, incident resolution, and change management. The position works closely with stakeholders and IT leadership to align technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds established SLAs. This manager will play a pivotal role in modernizing the application delivery environment by driving automation and efficiency projects, managing vendor and offshore relationships, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

• Lead a team responsible for the availability, performance, and security of F5 application delivery and WAF services
• Drive operational outcomes with a focus on SLAs across a modern, hybrid technology environment
• Champion automation, software-defined networking, and SaaS integration initiatives
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality of managed-services delivery

• Provide leadership and direction for the application delivery and web application firewall team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
• Own platform reliability outcomes such as availability, performance, and security, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT leadership to set service delivery priorities and standards
• Manage and optimize vendor partnerships, including offshore managed-services providers, to achieve service quality objectives
• Lead initiatives to automate and modernize the application delivery platform, optimizing processes, tools, and engineering practices
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the application delivery landscape
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, proactively addressing issues to maintain high service levels

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
