As a member of the Field Property Claims Team, you will provide an outstanding customer experience by investigating, solving problems, and negotiating to resolve homeowner claims. You will travel to the loss site to conduct investigations, analyze coverage, and estimate repairs. Every day presents new challenges as you help customers through the claims process using advanced homeowner products and services.
We offer approximately 5 months of training, including up to 2 weeks of in-person training.
The Field Property Claims Adjuster will primarily work within the Englewood, CO (80113) area or nearby. Candidates should reside close to this location.
A typical workday involves fieldwork in your local territory. Overnight travel for training and meetings is minimal, less than 10%.
This position may include a company car if mileage requirements are met. Additional details will be provided if you proceed to the interview stage.
We offer a Sign-On Bonus for experienced and licensed new hires, with amounts varying based on experience and license validation.
In this role, you will:
- Investigate and evaluate onsite to resolve complex coverage and damage issues, including preparing repair estimates and inspecting roofs, attics, crawl spaces, and basements.
- Handle moderate to complex claims independently from start to finish.
- Work in the field daily, with occasional desk work.
- Explain coverage, assist with damage itemization, emergency repairs, and temporary housing arrangements.
- Coordinate with vendors such as contractors and repair services.
- May be called for catastrophe duty.
This role requires:
- Knowledge of claims procedures and operations.
- Understanding of building construction principles.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Effective negotiation abilities.
- Independent workload management and sound judgment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency with multi-system use.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus at least 1 year of related experience.
- Proper licensing as required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and organize your day.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
