Manager, Regional Operations

• Provides guidance, leadership and coaching to Branch Operations Managers and their management team.

• Maintains positive working relationships with peers and Regional Sales Managers through regular communications and sharing of customer and market information.

• Regularly evaluates Branches and delivery route productivity to meet customer expectations, and initiates improvements while increasing sales and reducing expenses.

• Monitors profit and loss statements of Branch operations and maintains budget and approving expenses.

• Formulates and recommends operational policies and programs that maintain and improve the organization’s competitive position and profitability.

• Frequent travel is required for this position.

Education
:
High school/secondary school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must-Have Skills
:

• At least 4 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse related field.

• Has a general knowledge of all aspects of the Branch.

• Understanding of P&L.

• Must be available for frequent travel.

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

• Comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

• Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and listen. The team member is frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch and occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. The team member must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
