Employment Type: Full Time
Location: IGE Englewood
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour
DescriptionThe CNC operator routes all the components required to build exhibits and displays using a CNC machine. The candidate must be a reliable worker with a solid work ethic and can operate a CNC and related equipment precisely. The ideal candidate must be highly detail-oriented while still working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They should also display excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well as a team.
Key Responsibilities- Working with CAD, DXF, DWG files, and CNC programming software
- Calculating dimensions to route-cutting sheets of different materials
- Find efficiencies for dimensioning and cutting.
- Assembly of components
- Sharpening & ordering tooling and supplies for CNC work.
- Keep the CNC running in perfect condition by doing the right weekly maintenance.
- Assist in building exhibits and displays
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience using CNC Machines, one year minimum experience.
- Open to train the right candidate
- Excellent Computer Skills
- CAD user is a plus
