Job Summary

As a Burn Unit Registered Nurse (RN) at HCA Health

ONE Swedish, you’ll play a vital role in the healing journey of patients with a variety of burn injuries. With stays ranging from days to weeks, you’ll build meaningful relationships and witness powerful healing journeys. Partnering with a skilled multidisciplinary team that’s deeply committed to this unique population, you’ll restore comfort and healing—caring for patients like family and improving lives every day.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety throughout their care journey.
  • Perform expert procedures and medication administration—including pain relief and fluid therapy—delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses, and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort.
  • Educate and support patients and families with compassion and clarity to confidently navigate recovery and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient‑centered care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Qualifications
  • RN acute hospital ICU or Stepdown/PCU/Telemetry experience.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications.
  • RN licensure in Colorado or a multistate license.
  • Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent.
