Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior ICU experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Experience with medical ICU and neuro patient population preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with 60 staff members
• Staffing includes 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT per shift when census exceeds 14
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients
• Unit uses cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• EMR system is Meditech
• Night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Procedures performed on the unit include intubations and central line placement
• Collaborative team player personality fit preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Local candidates will not be considered
