Description:
This is a travel RN position in a Neuro ICU.The unit has 18 beds with a staff of 45.Day and night shifts are available.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is estimated at 1 RN to 2 patients.
The unit is equipped with cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, EVDs, continuous EEG, lumbar drains, Arctic Sun, and Licox.
Intubations, central line placements, EVD/LD placements, and Licox catheter placements are typical procedures performed on the unit.
Collaboration and being a team player is essential.
Candidates with experience in neuro populations will be prioritized.
