American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a seasonal PACU assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent PACU experience and PALS/ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.

• Work in a PACU unit encompassing Main, Surgical Robotics, and Orthopedic Surgery Center bays, totaling 59 combined Pre-Op and PACU bays
• Staff float between the Main, Surgical Robotics, and Ortho PACUs
• Patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients, with up to 3 same-day surgery patients, staffed per ASPAN standards
• Day shift hours vary based on the surgery schedule; night shift staffed with 2 RNs
• Uses GE monitors for patient equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Scheduled shift is 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Patient population includes high neuro volume, stroke, interventional radiology, and TAVR cases, with surgeries including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics

• Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Critical care and/or additional PACU experience preferred
• Stroke care experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Provide pre-op and post-anesthesia recovery care for a variety of surgical patients
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Flexible and outgoing personality is a strong fit for this unit
