Description:
Seeking a travel RN with expertise in the operating room. The unit features 4 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite. Staffing includes 4 full-time RNs, 3 full-time surgical techs, and 1 PRN RN. Day shift positions are available, with no night shifts. Typical patient ratios are maintained based on the operating room schedule. Equipment utilized includes Stryker, Mako, and Globus devices, with Meditech as the electronic medical record system.
Desired candidates will have total joint experience at levels 11 or 111. Experience with robotics, such as DaVinci, is preferred. Typical procedures performed include orthopedic and spine joint replacements as well as laparoscopic surgeries. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Call duties are shared among nurses, typically requiring one night per week, which may increase based on requests for time off.
