Position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with local, state and federal regulations including health regulations, wage and hour regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA and other applicable regulations for legal operation.
• Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Help ensure profitability by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of guest service, quality and cleanliness, embracing the Firehouse Subs culture, mission and vision.
• Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
• Ensure all required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate, complete and on schedule.
• Implement and promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
• Communicate effectively to the GM/Owner about issues that may impact the business.
• Able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned by the GM/Owner.

General Manager

• Experience operating in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations relevant to restaurant operations.
• Ability to work extended hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
