Dishwasher – Out West Restaurant Group

Compensation
  • $18.00–$22.00 per hour (not eligible for tips)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain dishwashing areas organized to support smooth kitchen operations.
  • Manage tasks efficiently to keep kitchen workflow flowing.
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Restock kitchen and cooking line as needed throughout the shift.
  • Perform routine cleaning of the kitchen and assist with general housekeeping tasks.
  • Understand dish machine operations, chemicals, and change water/chemicals as required.
  • Keep floors clean and dry.
  • Ensure plates and smallware are properly washed, sanitized, and stored.
  • Inspect food receiving, preparation, and storage areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Correct unsafe practices or conditions and notify management.
  • Commit to food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all restaurant areas as business needs arise.
Requirements
  • 1+ year BOH experience in a full‑service restaurant preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems.
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Visual acuity for distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral tasks; ability to adjust focus; work in low or dim lighting.
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
