Overview

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$18.00 to $21.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process!

Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.07 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with customer inquiries and problem resolution. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay depends on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop a rapport and offer appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; works as part of a team to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to stand for extended periods; duties include walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, etc., in compliance with laws.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored outside.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Applicants are provided more details during the interview process.
