Territory Sales Manager

Base Pay Range

$60,000 – $70,000 per year

Primary Duties
  • Identify new sales opportunities with new and existing customers, focusing on program business.
  • Maximize sales efforts by concentrating on the largest, most profitable opportunities.
  • Improve profitability, product penetration, and product mix with all customers.
  • Qualify sales opportunities through market and customer research and teamwork with inside sales representatives.
  • Develop sales solutions and competitive pricing strategies, communicate the value proposition to customers, and reevaluate solutions when necessary.
  • Close sales opportunities by gaining purchase orders and executing all order fulfillment procedures.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and post‑sales satisfaction to facilitate long‑term relationships and repeat business.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience; MS/MBA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience as a sales professional, managing an established book of business and increasing partnerships.
  • Knowledge of building materials, market insight, product experience, relationship‑building acumen, and consultative selling skills.

The salary range provided is a good‑faith estimate based on the position requirements and market data. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and other job‑related considerations. Blue Linx also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health care, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance starting the first day of the month, 15 days of paid time off that start accruing the first day, and 8 paid holidays per year.
