About Our ClientAddison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading provider of commercial HVAC solutions. They are looking for a results‑driven sales professional to join their team, build strong client relationships, and deliver energy‑efficient, cost‑saving HVAC solutions.
Job DescriptionThe HVAC Account Manager will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts, and delivering customized HVAC solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate closely with operations and project teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers at commercial facilities.
- Identify client needs and provide recommendations for system upgrades, retrofits, and replacements.
- Conduct sales presentations and meetings to demonstrate solutions and value.
- Collaborate with service sales reps and engineers to uncover opportunities in existing accounts.
- Develop budget and energy‑saving plans for clients.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with project managers and operations to ensure timely project completion.
- Stay up‑to‑date on industry standards, energy efficiency guidelines, and market trends.
- 5+ years of proven experience in B2B or project‑based sales, in HVAC, mechanical systems, or building services.
- Technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Team‑oriented and capable of collaborating across departments.
- Flexible schedule (7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm)
- In‑office position.
- Direct hire reporting into sales leadership.
- Uncapped commissions.
- Year 1 OTE $175,000 – $200,000.
