Responsible for selling Canon’s hardware and software technology‑based solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies within an assigned account list. The role requires a reasonable commuting distance to the local office to adequately execute responsibilities.
Your Impact- Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers within the assigned account list, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.
- Report customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments.
- Develop strategic plans to address customer requirements locally, including short‑term and long‑term goals.
- Provide marketing, technical, and administrative support to named accounts’ internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support in all facets of daily activity.
- Introduce and place Canon technology, service, software, and third‑party solutions to address customer requirements.
- Establish high‑level relationships with the customer base to enhance long‑term working partnerships.
- Gain new market share through strategic prospecting and an ability to meet customer requirements utilizing all available resources efficiently.
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience.
- Experience in office technology, business‑to‑business, and outside sales.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to build solid working relationships.
- An interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
- The ability to work autonomously and excellent time‑management skills.
- Some travel required within the local market, may include overnights (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record necessary).
Base salary range: $60,000 – $81,550 annually. Incentive compensation varies by quota assigned; at 100% of plan, the anticipated incentive compensation is $76,582 annually. Eligible for a transportation allowance.
